Fill out the Application Form. Include as much details as possible about your project and how it would benefit Interlay.
Screening & Interview
If your application passes the initial screening, we will contact you via your email to schedule an interview with us for further assessment. The Interlay Labs Grants Committee will conduct further diligence into the project.
Timeline for feedback: Within 2 weeks from submission
Evaluation and Formal Grant Offer
The Interlay Labs Grants Committee will determine if the applicant’s proposal fits into our network’s roadmap, and what value can be assigned to the final product. Selected projects will receive a grant Formal Grant Offer including terms and conditions for grants distribution.
Timeline for result: Within 1 month from interview
Community Proposal
Once your application receive a positive decision from the Interlay Labs Grants Committee, a governance proposal will be posted for the acknowledgement from the Interlay community. The final decision will come from the community members.
Timeline for proposal: Within 2 weeks
Onboarding and Announcement
The onboarding process for grant recipients starts with signing contracts on fund details and making milestone agreements on project deliverables and timelines. Each project will be assigned an evaluator. You will receive a warm welcome with public announcement from our team.
Timeline: Within 1 week from community decision passed
Milestone Delivery and Ongoing Support
Project evaluators will make supervise and support the growth of grants projects. Evaluators make assessments on milestone deliveries, report project progress to the Grants Committee, and providing feedback and guidance to grants recipients. Any changes in the milestone delivery schedule or any amendment to the project have to go through the Interlay Labs Grants Committee. If your deliveries are significantly delayed and we cannot get a hold of you, the committee have the right to terminate the grant (3 approvals required, regardless of level. If a member of the committee creates the termination PR, only 2 more approvals are required).
Grant Closure and Project Launch
After passing the official testing and final project delivery to the Grants Committee, the grant recipient will receive the full grants funding. Interlay team will officially integrate the final product and make public announcement on the integration.
